We’ve drawn up an itinerary based around our flight tickets. Over the course of our travels, this could be tweaked, augmented or changed drastically.
One reason for having this page is to look back later and see how much our final route resembled our original itinerary.
Travel plan
The basic plan takes us through seven countries (not including a few hours stopover in Heathrow) over 10 months.

May 15, 2009: Laos (Luang Phrabang, Vang Vieng, Vientiane)
Jun 5, 2009: Vietnam (Lao Cai, Ha Noi, Ha Long, Hue, Ho Chi Minh)
Jul 5, 2009: Cambodia (Phnom Penh, Battambang, Siem Reap)
Aug 5, 2009: Laos (Champasak, Pakse, Savannakhet)
Aug 23, 2009: Thailand (Phi Mai, Bangkok, Ko Mak)
Sept 17, 2009: Australia (Melbourne, Sydney)
Oct 7, 2009: India (Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Varanasi)
Dec 7, 2009: Nepal (Kathmandu, Pokhara)
Dec 31, 2009: India (Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Kochi, Goa)
Apr 10, 2010: Mumbai — London
Apr 17, 2010: Back home and new start!
